Adumski vs Annie: Redirect, your Honour?

For the record, I have no intention of writing about how and when my underware rides up - much less how it makes me or anyone else feel. The world can do without THAT bit of needless information.

Lets pretend for a moment that I hibernated through the first part of this century. Can you tell me what pop-n-lock is?

Debate is encouraged. Arguing is encouraged. Harrassment is not.

Abba. Toto. Whatever. My musical tastes, although eclectic in nature, do not include the likes of Swedish pop from the 70s. I'd opt for several hours of root canal instead. Somebody once said that sarcasm, sinicism et al is a cheap defense mechanism. I say: WHO CARES?

As for healthy narcisism? Some might argue that's a contradiction in terms - a paradox. I'll admit, this blog business can be mildly entertaining - dare I say inspiring? Time will only tell.

I'll note that you're sticking with honest and vulgar. Brave decision.

Not stoned? You should try it. It may help with the insomnia. Failing that, read my blog.

Here I am, looking like the bad girl...
If only I could post my resume of good deeds and philanthropy but alas, I am only as nice as the tone you are reading this in.
I see a lot of sing-songy talk of others feelings as if I am the villain of this cartoon. Like I sit here with my cat azrial and giggle about war and dead babies...
Quite the contrary, I have a cat named Margo, live in the suburbs, contribute to good-will, fancy shoes and hand bags, love my parents, and have an addiction to my career b/c what I do allows the very rich and the very poor to sleep well at night while I watch their investments and write on your blog.
I say "entertain me" you say I "harass". I say you write well you say you hate toto. Who is the real victim here? Is it I who is the predator with all my careless honesty? Maybe this is the true reason that honesty is unwelcome as people who tell the truth are at the mercy of those who use these confessed nuances as ammunition.
The truth is, I never went blog browsing that night in an attempt to ridicule anyone. Actually, if you were to browse comments that I have made, you would notice that they were merely an attempt to appreciate them. I felt bad knowing about someone's broken heart or bad day without showing I "heard them". So here - all that think I am a predator, here are the blogs I commented on -
http://bittercupofjoe.blogspot.com/2006/07/oh-really.html

http://grrrainne.blogspot.com/2006/07/grrrainne-starting-now.html

http://mtv-generation.blogspot.com/2006/07/pop-flower-power.html

http://capriciousanchors.blogspot.com/2006/07/in-learning-to-reclassify-to-step-back.html

Regardless if you find the time to ever go read the comments I left, you no longer have the platform that tell me I "harass".
I appreciate blogs because they are "real". No one is afraid to talk about their failures or feelings. To reference my "ass load of friends" - I don’t know anyone because they show only what is pretty. They don’t want to run the risk of my social black-list. They like my great shoes and the fact my name is on the bar's VIP list. I can kiss hug and say "cheers" with these people all day long but this will never allow us to "know" each other.
I never really made a point in this comment and I assume you will hold this statement against me by somehow throwing out my "pointlessness" in a reply. Anyway, I challenge you to point out my flaws as you seem to the judge… go for it – I too have a blog. I warn you however, that I am accountable for all of them
- godspeed

Come now Annie, its way too soon to take the sting out of my self-defending (read: self-loathing) sarcasm with such astute insights. *joke*

It seems you are anxious to show me the fine upstanding citizen that you are. There is no need for that. I'm sure that you are a good person, who is not into harrassment and ridicule. That was all just a bit of good old-fashioned banter. No offense and certainly no criticism intented. Truth be told, everybody, certainly this writer, enjoys a bit of honesty from time to time. Your comments are interesting and most welcome.

An observation if I may? It seems you have had some questionable experiences with people who claim to be your friends, but are in fact a bit shallow. Some may even be a bit intimidated by your energy. We all can relate to that at some point or another. More importantly, are you proposing to do something about that? We all deserve friends that accept us, and that we can trust implicitly. No questions. Those friendships need to be nurtured.

Whoa, the political correctness guage is red-lining, so time to ease off. Perhaps there's some sense in there somewhere.

For the record (another unintended pun), I actually own a CD by Toto and would certainly elivate it above the likes of that 'other' 70s group. "Africa" (but of course...) is my favourite track. Finally, I'm still waiting for an answer to "pop-n-lock".

A final thought: I'm a big believer in accountability.

Ahhhh...
Yesterday was a crappy day, therefore I couldn’t help but read everything like there was a sneer on your face. Arguing with your girlfriend has taken the edge off and so will the club this evening... I have much to comment on, although I am off to the ladies room to stroke my vanity for a long evening of binge drinking.
In the interim - I request that you actually write about who the hell you are since I visit your little blog now... ciao
Operative word – “your”

Annie <-- princess chaos
